CONTINUING EDUCATION / NIGHT SCHOOL PROGRAM

The St. Louis union electrical construction industry is committed to providing highly knowledgeable and productive electricians and communication techs to buyers of construction. IBEW members demonstrate this personal pride and commitment by participating in ongoing training programs on their own time to enhance their total skills and value to buyers. By doing so, they also ensure demand for their services throughout their careers.

Dear Member:

The IBEW-NECA Apprenticeship Training Center continues to offer a wide selection of courses specifically designed to meet the needs of our industry. The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee periodically revise course selections to reflect current market demands. Course listings in this program satisfy the requirements established by the JATC for changes or upgrades in classifications. A quick reference table for the 2009-2010 course schedules is provided with this newsletter. For complete course descriptions visit our web-site: www.stlejatc.org

In addition to providing quality apprenticeship training, the JATC is committed to developing advanced training classes for the journey-level workforce.

Current JATC policy offers courses listed in the attached program without cost to members meeting the criteria in the registration form. The Business Manager asks me to convey the importance of this benefit as we maintain the most highly trained and productive workforce in the electrical industry.

Please indicate your choice of courses on the enclosed registration slip. Be sure to indicate your IBEW card number and the name of your current employer. Class schedules and availability are subject to change pending the number of registrations received.

Class enrollment will be determined by date stamped upon receipt of registration. IMPORTANT - carefully read registration information enclosed. We look forward to your continued participation.

Fraternally,

Dennis J. Gralike
